Our friendly and experienced instructors will take you through the stages required to get your licence -- from your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) through to your Direct Access test - and become a confident, safe and happy rider.

When you choose to learn with us, you know you're in good hands. BMW Rider Training is managed by the hugely experienced Chief Instructor Ian Biederman, ably supported by a team of friendly, expert instructors.

BMW Rider Training is located in Royston, Hertfordshire, an ideal location to take advantage of beautiful country roads through picturesque woodland, rolling hills and open farmland, yet still being only 15 miles away from the DSA Test Centre in village of Hardwick, Cambridgeshire.

We have dedicated facilities, with classroom for theory training and a tarmac practice area for those slow speed manoeuvres, as well as access to the DSA Test Centre to practice the skills needed for your Module One Test. Of course, we work with some of the best-qualified and most-experienced male and female motorcycle instructors in the country, who are here to pass on their knowledge and expertise to you!

BMW Rider Training is readily accessible from London (only 40 minutes by train), within an easy drive of Cambridge, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Chelmsford and Northampton and is less than 25 miles away from both London Luton and London Stansted Airports. We also have a preferred hotel, with special rates for our BMW Rider Training Customers, when doing the courses on a residential basis.

Our Direct Access Courses are based on full days training and not training "sessions". This means that each day you will receive around seven hours of practical and theory training

Our prices include fully comprehensive motorcycle insurance with no excess. This means if you damage ourbikes, there is nothing extra to pay

Our fleet is replaced every year and the bike you will learn on is the latest model BMW, with heated grips, ABSand we also provide BMW Rider Equipment free of charge
