Ceremonial Stone Landscape (CSL)
Based on research of other Native American ritual sites in New England, we break down the Snake Cave site in Foxboro MA. Lost to time for thousands of years, this site is likely a remant of an ancient sun ceremony performed on the equinox. The fourth in the series, this episode builds on the prior research and begins the step by step journey in to an ancient ritual through the mists of time.
This episode references the work of Mary Gage. Specfically, "America's Stonehenge Deciphered", Powwow River Books, 2006. Also, Gungywamp Decoded (2006, revised 2010) [ Ссылка ]
For those seeking more detail about the specific strucutures in the video, I have done deep dive videos on each type (snake effigy, linear/connected cairns/split boulder cairns/niches/enclosures), and create this playlist (in the order they appear in the episodes 28 and 29) if you want to know what they are about, and thier potential purpose: [ Ссылка ]
