For a long time now, I've searched for an answer to a bordering and confusing spiritual question in my heart on how best to communicate or relate with the Holy Spirit and spirit realm.

To be successful in your communication with God, you need an active heart to do that. Because your heart serves as the communication point for your spirit, your mind serves as the communication point for your soul, while your brain serves as the communication point for your body.
So to communicate to God effectively, the desires of your soul must be transferred from your mind to your heart, which makes it a spiritual communication to God.
This is because, God is a spirit and you must communicate with him in spirit and truth and the only way to achieve that is through your heart.
