JD Vance has come out and said Donald Trump is not happy about the way a famous beloved squirrel was euthanised by authorities in New York.
A New York couple who took in and raised the animals had them seized by US authorities and euthanised.
According to the state, possession of the animals was illegal and they had to be euthanised to test for rabies.
“The New York Post highlighted this, and basically made the observation, people have raided this person’s house,” Sky News host Ross Greenwood said.
“Either somebody’s got jealous or somebody says the squirrel has not been kept in the right environment … they have actually taken these pets away, euthanised the pets, then now even JD Vance has called this out and said Trump is not happy about this.”
