This year, Team 5006 asks you to reflect on your own FIRST story and the enormous impact of not just the organization, but the teammates, mentors, and volunteers that make FIRST possible. We were inspired by a video produced last season by Team 3132, Thunder Down Under, to think about our team's transformation. It all started with one girl. Though her passion for all things STEM created an invaluable sense of dedication, she quickly realized that, in order to achieve the impossible, she needed more than just her passion... she needed to instill that same passion in others. That one girl's dream sparked not only an unbelievable change in her life but also in her community and the world as a whole. Now, four and a half years later, our team has flourished and become one of the most influential teams in our region. By telling her story, we hope to inspire the same values in our audience and emphasize that, no matter one's background, we all have the potential to change the world...one must only find that potential.
