Today we flew from MCO in Orlando to Ponta Delgada in the Azores. We were dropped off in Orlando by Matt’s parents, and enjoyed the plaza premium lounge in the new terminal C at MCO.

After a long travel day, we arrived in Ponta Delgada at 6 am, way too early to check into our Airbnb. Luckily, we rented a car for only $15 per day! We went to a cafe to enjoy a beautiful sunrise, before exploring a free garden located in the city.

After checking into our amazing Airbnb, we drove to the Sete Ciudades, volcanic lakes on the west of the island. We were amazed at the beauty, and the ease of driving around the island. We 100% recommend this if you come to Ponta Delgada.

After returning home, we enjoyed cooking ourselves dinner :).
