Research notes have become an even more important in Guild Wars 2 Secrets of the Obscure, than they were for some people in End of Dragons.

While in End of Dragons these were mainly sought after by players for Jade Bot Cores and Generation 3 Legendary Weapons, right now you'll need them to optimize farming Rifts. These are one of the main components to craft Common, Uncommon, and Rare Kryptis Motivations.

When it comes to obtaining Research Notes you'll often have to choose between acquiring them fast, at an higher cost, or cheap, but at a slower pace.
