Tip
-Don't book on third party sites, go directly to the counter to rent.
-You have to have the money up front to rent. There is a third party (insurance for a person you may hit you) that will be held on your card.
-Make sure you get insurance because in Mexico if you get into an accident you have to have the money to fix the damages.
-Weekly rentals are cheaper
-There are locals who rent their vehicles (hint, hint- which is much cheaper, but you live and you learn)
