This recipe is all about a very nutritious yet de3licious recipe namely “MOCHAR GHONTO”/”NIRAMISH MOCHAR TORKARI”.MOCHA(BANANA FLOWER ) is a vegetable available throughout the year and price isn’t that much high though it is filled up with nutritious benefits. You should choose this vegis wisely the “kathali kolar mocha” is best for cooking others may be a little bitter in taste. so its see the recipe.
INGRIDIENTS:
1. MOCHA/BANANA FLOWER(BOILED)
2. POTATO (FRIED)
3. COCONUT(FRIED)
4. CUMIN & CORIENDER POWDER
5. GREEN CHILLIS
6. GINGER(MASHED)
7. TURMARIC POWDER
8. SALT
9. SUGAR
10. TOMATO(SMALL PIECES)
11. CUMIN SEEDS
12. GARAM MASALA POWDER
13. GHEE
PROCESS:
1. U NEED TO CUT THE MOCHA IN A PROPER WAY,AND LET IT BOIL IN PRESSURE COKKER UNTILL 3 WHITSELS WITH SOME TURMARIC POWDER.BY THAT TIME CUT HE POTATOS & COCONUT INTO SMALL PIECES AND FRY GOLDEN.
2. AFTER YOUR MOCHA IS DONE STRAIN IT WELL BUT DON’T DRAIN THE WATER U NEED IT AFTERWARDS.
3. IN APAN ADD OIL, WHEN HOT ADD CUMIN WAIT FEW SECS AND ADD GRENN CHILLIS FRY A LITTLE.
4. ADD TOMATOS FRY UNTILL COOKED AND ADD GINGER FOLLOD BY SOME TURMARIC POWDER AND SALT& SUGAR. MIX MIX MIX.
5. NOW ADD A LILLE WATER IN A BOWL AND MIX WITH THE POWDER SPICES(CUMIN & CORIENDER) MAKE A PASTE ADD IT IN THE PAN.MIX WELL AND COVER THE PAN FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTILL THE MASALA IS WELL COOKED AND OIL LEAVE THE MASALA.
6. THIS TIME ADD BOILED POTATO FOLLOWED BY THE COCONUT PIECES MIX WELL.
7. ADD THE BOILED MOCHA MIX WELL ADD THE STOCK OF BOILED MOCHA MIX WITH THE CURRY AND LEAVE THE PAN COVERD UNTILL THE WATER DRIED.
8. AFTER THAT ADD THE GRAM MASALA POWDER AND GHEE IN IT MIX IT AND SERVE THIS NURICIOUS AND DILICIOUS DELICY WITH ROTI/ RICE.
