The Ukrainian defenders managed to achieve some success on the battlefield in the Kharkiv region. They launched counterattacks against the enemy, liberating a number of settlements in the outskirts of Izium. Hovewer fierce fighting continues in the this direction. At the same time the Russian occupiers use heavy artillery, destroying residential areas in Severodonetsk and cities nearby. The Ukrainian armed forces continue to successfully deter the enemy in Severodonetsk. The Russian occupiers also suffered losses near Bakhmut. They had to retreat to previously occupied positions.
