Another demonstration with this didactic electron beam deflection CRT. This CRT is used for electrostatic and magnetic deflection demonstrations and shows the relationships between the plate potentials or coil currents and degree of deflection. However, in this video, using both electrostatic and magnetic deflection, the electron is being slowed down after its initial acceleration from the electron gun.
