This weekend we took on Heaton Parkrun's annual Santa Dash in support of the Manchester charity Barnabus. Please consider following the link above to find out more about the important work that Barnabus do to support people who are struggling for a place to live, which is especially important during the colder months and over the Christmas period.
I really wanted to be able to record as many of the runners in their fancy dress at the start of this run, and so I forfeit the first minute to catch it all for the video, and then decided to push hard to see if I could still post a good time, so be prepared to see many of the runners twice as I catch them up on my way around the course.
This wasn't planned to be a hard effort after running a couple of tougher sessions earlier in the week, but I felt good after the first km when my heart rate started to settle a bit, so I pushed on. I'm feeling quite strong at the moment and am optimistic for the #25by25 challenge.
Please let me know down in the comments if the new camera settings have improved the run footage, or if you think there's something else that's missing. We've had one or two dislikes on recent videos and I would love to know what you want to see more of as we learn how to make this content interesting for our community.
