An Oakland-born, first-generation Vietnamese-American, Chef Phu finds that food is a vessel for meaningful work that can ultimately connect people on a personal, familial and human level. For Shifting the Lens, he built these connections with guests, leaving them with new insights into the importance of representation and how it shapes our culture.
