This is an easy version of the hypocras the true version from back then can contain up to 13 spices. So here is let's say a modern easy version of that old drink 🙂
Note: on the final picture you will see star anise which is something you can add in each glass when serving.it will add a touch of class and taste as well.
INGREDIENTS:
1 bottle of red wine ( burgundy or beaujolais)
100 gram honey
30 gram cinnamon(stick)
10 cloves
10 green cardamon pods ( use just the seeds inside)
60 grams fresh ginger
3 slices of fresh oranges (optional)
