One of the best tools for learning bass, crappie or any fish behavior is forward facing sonar, whether it be Lowrance, Garmin or Humminbird. I've been using Garmin LiveScope for almost a year and it has taught me a ton about fish behavior. It's a great tool for finding cover and baitfish. Here's some of the things I've learned.
