The downfall of tiktok star Fannita is a curious case. After a bit of fame, money and weight loss, she began lashing out at her audience, calling them ugly and poor, which is hypocritical since she herself in the past said she struggled with her size and financial status. She was harshly criticized when she was a plus size influencer, which has caused her to harbour a lot of anger that she is now unleashing towards her audience now that she is thinner, her point of unfair treatment being a plus size creator is correct, but her approach is very intense. As well as dragging fellow tiktok star Alix Earle when speaking on unequal paywhen it comes to creators of color, which is valid, but Fannitas approach to these talking points are still wrong. I believe we need to do some serious internal work and heal, before we explore the possibilities of changing ourselves outwardly, because we might end up bitter and lashing out at the very people who supported us in the first place.
