Explore the mystical Sikidang Volcanic Crater in Dieng Plateau | Play Episode #82

Kawah Sikidang or Sikidang Volcanic Crater is one of the natural attractions in the Dieng Plateau of Wonosobo, Central Java. The Dieng Plateau was formed because of the eruption of the Old Prahu volcano that occurred centuries ago, but volcanic activity in this area is still active today. One of which we can see in Sikidang Volcanic Crater.

While most of the craters which are at the top of the volcano and are difficult to see, this Sikidang Volcanic Crater is on flat ground so that visitors are free to see the hot mud erupting and gas or thick white smoke releasing in the air. This is a natural phenomenon that really attracts attention.
