The climbing gear set is one of the most useful and important armor sets for those looking to explore in BOTW. In this video, I show you the location of all three climbing gear set items in The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

I also show you what you need in order to upgrade these set items at a fairy fountain in order to get the climbing jump stamina up set bonus.

The first piece, the climbing bandana, is found inside a shrine at the bottom of the duelling peaks mountain. The bandana is found in a chest which is rewarded for solving a simple puzzle.

The second piece, the climbing boots, are found by completing a shrine quest given by a woman behind the dye shop in Hateno Village. This shrine is difficult to reach as there are tough monsters and cold weather in the area. The shrine does not have any puzzles to solve as getting there is a challenge itself.

The third and final piece, the climbing gear armor, is found in a shrine in the middle of the ocean where you'll be expected to complete a major test of strength (fighting a strong guardian).

Once you have all 3 set pieces, it's time to upgrade them at a fairy fountain. In the video, you will see where to find 3 very easy fairy fountains as well as the materials required to upgrade the armor pieces two times to get the set bonus.
