Here are my tips on how to deal with a drug addicted partner. Of course this is not a one size fits all solution but if you find one part helpful, then my job is done.

1. You are not responsible for the addiction.

2. There is nothing you can do at the moment.

3. Stay away and if you cannot, then stay away when they are crashing.

4. It's your choice, make your own experience and know when you've really had enough!

5. Reach out to your loved ones to talk about it. Seek help with groups that will make you feel less alone in this situation.

6. It's ok to leave, even if it's just for now until your partner is sober.
