"Deep Peace of the Running Wave to You" was probably written by William Sharp (1855-1905) who also wrote under the name of Fiona Macleod. Sharp was a Scottish writer, friend of Dante Gabriel Rosetti and member of the Celtic Edinburgh circle. It is probably based on a poem he wrote (as Fiona Macleod) as part of a story called "The Amadan", published in 1899.
This setting is by John Rutter, published in 1978. This performance is by the Exulte Singers. The geese were shot by Edward Tufte: [ Ссылка ]
Deep peace of the running wave to you;
Deep peace of the flowing air to you;
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you;
Deep peace of the shining stars to you;
Deep peace of the gentle night to you;
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you;
Deep peace of Christ the light of the world to you;
Deep peace of Christ to you.
