This video shows how to install hp laserjet 1020 plus printer in ubuntu. I have hp laserjet 1020 plus printer. It is usb printer. I have Ubuntu operating system. For installing ubuntu printer driver we have to installl hp linux imaging and printing (hplip) & then hplip plugin.

ubuntu terminal commands..................

1) Check hplip package
dpkg -l hplip
2) update the ubuntu os
sudo apt-get update
3) install the module
sudo apt-get install libcanberra-gtk-module
4) install the hplip driver package
sh hplip
5) install the hp plugin
hp-plugin
6) check the package
dpkg -l apparmor
7) install the package
sudo apt-get install apparmor-utils
8) Check the application allowed or denied in apparmor
sudo aa-status
9) Allow the applications in apparmor
sudo aa-complain /usr/share/cups-browsed
sudo aa-complain /usr/share/cupsd
sudo aa-complain /usr/share/hplip/plugin.py
sudo aa-complain /usr/share/hplip/setup.py
sudo aa-complain /usr/share/hplip/toolbox.py
