Hello everyone, xHedra here bringing you episode 01 of Volcano Block, a modpack by Dark_Arcana.
Well, I was sooo tired from the cold in Frozenopolis, that I decided to go real hot... Magma Hot to be precise... living in a Volcano
Now this is an old modpack that I tried to play when it came out a long time ago but it would always crash for me, and I saw a video about ATM Volcano Block which is a recent remake of this old modpack...
I downloaded the old modpack and it no longer crashes... so I decided to give it a go and finally play it... and we might even play the new ATM one after we are done with this playthrough...
The very interesting thing about this, is that it contains alot of mods that I've never really played with, so this is gonna be very different, with lots of research... mouahahah
Let's get started
Get some Player Flesh and craft it down into Bone Meal
Bone Meal the grass until we get 3 sticks to craft a Wooden Hoe
Plant some Wheat and Normie Seeds and crouch to grow and get 4 extra Normie Seeds and use the 4 to craft an Artisia Seeds
Grow that and break it to get a Crafting Table... yeah that's from Unique Crop... a Crafting seed.. bouahhh
Craft the Crafting Table into a Crafting Station
We need 10 more sticks to craft a Drying Basin and an Oak Bucket...
Put a Hay Bale in the Drying Basin to get water and let's get 2 Water to make an infinite water source and surround it with Sugar Canes we are going to need alot
By the way, all that extra Wheat can also be used to make Grass Blocks
We are going to need that to expand our island a bit and setup another 3x3 of Grass with the water so that we can plant 9 Artisia Seeds well leave the center one for last
It needs to be grown last to detect the Flower Crafting Grid... Yeah that's a thing
Using our new crafting system, craft a Cobblonia Seed using 5 Grass and 4 Normie Seeds
Plant that seed between Lava and Water and we get an infinite Cobblestone Generator whenever we are crouching next to it
And now progress can really start...
What I want to do... is unlock a couple of things and then go into a setup timelapse
Craft a Pickaxe, Hoe, a Furnace and 2 Cobblestone Chests
Setup Magma Smelter to get Cooked Potatos and Food Charcoal that can give Charcoal Chunks
Cook 16 Stones
We need to get 16 Heavy Ingots for our next step (16 Stone, 16 Dirt and 16 Food Charcoal)
We can then craft a pair of Heavy Shears to harvest Grass and craft 2 into Sticks
Use the rest to craft a Crushing Block
Which can be used to crush Cobblestone into Stone Dust which can be crafted into Stone Dust Block which can be cooked into Glass
Now on the other side of that quest branch we need to craft a Pixelsius Shoot with 4 String, 4 Carrot Charcoal and an Artisia Seed
We only need that seed to get enough Pixel Debris to craft a Collis Seed or 2 or 3
Craft some Torches and grab the Grass Block and the Stone Ladders
Time to head straight up to Y 103+ and setup another small platform to grow the Collis Seed which we can harvest for 3 Golden Rods
Timelapse:
- Setup a good platform
- Wheat 7x7
- Normie Seeds 7x7
- Mysterious Grass 7x7
- Crafting and Storage Area
- Material for the 5 Instabilis Seed
- Fish for Blaze Rods and Magma Cream
- Prep more Glass
