Through Bank of America’s Student Leaders program, high school students across the country get first-hand experience serving their communities through a paid eight-week internship with nonprofits like Hennepin Theatre Trust. This summer, Hennepin Theatre Trust was proud to facilitate internships for four incredible student leaders. We were honored to play a role in their development through the support of Bank of America.
During their summer internship, the students also got to see how nonprofits, governments and businesses collaborate to meet local needs by participating in the national Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. Many of the students use their new-found skills to create more change and improve more lives, with inspiring stories of enthusiasm and commitment.
