One would hardly recognize the man based solely on how his life began, but it is in a few short years towards the end of his life that he created a legacy for the books of history and proved to be a miracle for this Ummah. He was the lifeline of the Umayyad Dynasty, firmly rooted in deen and had his reign been longer than a short 2 years and 5 months, one could imagine the lasting impacts on the world of Islam and history.
