In a debate moderated by TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, panelists -- Randeep Singh Surjewala, Spokesperson, Congress; Ravi Shankar Prasad, Deputy Leader of Opposition, Rajya Sabha; Hartosh Singh Bal, Political Editor, The Caravan Magazine; Arati Jerath, Senior Journalist; and KTS Tulsi, Senior Advocate, SC & MP, Rajya Sabha -- discuss the issue of BJP bringing out video, booklet on Robert Vadra's alleged land deals, and whether Priyanka be able to take the focus away from her husband by making the issue one of political vendetta.

In sharp escalation of their war of words, Priyanka Gandhi today (April 27) said BJP was scrambling like "panic-stricken rats" and mocked BJP's PM candidatge Narendra Modi asserting one does not need 56-inch chest to run the country while the rival party released a video targeting her husband. In her shrillest attack yet on BJP after it released a eight-minute video documentary on her husband Robert Vadra's alleged land deals, Priyanka said she is not going to be intimidated by such "lies" and will continue to speak against its "destructive" politics. The BJP reacted by accusing Congress of taking democratic discourse to a new low with its "abusive" politics. Priyanka was asked about a video and a booklet brought out by BJP on the alleged land deals of her husband which it termed as 'Robert Vadra model of development'. BJP has alleged that the 'Vadra model' has become successful due to the patronage provided by the Gandhi family to Vadra. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said "there was a gross violation of laws relating to land and environment." The six-page booklet titled 'Damad Shree' refers to various deals of Vadra in Rajasthan and Haryana. Taking a dig at Modi, Priyanka said a 56-inch chest is not needed to run the country but a "big heart" and "moral strength". BJP returned the 'big heart' taunt and dragged Vadra again, asking whose large heartedness helped him in expanding his business through alleged land deals. Social Media Links :-
