ingredients

peeled pineapple - 700g
tomatoes - 500g
sugar - 1kg
dates - 100g
lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
cashews or raisins (optional)
food colouring (optional)
salt to taste

* don't add water
* keep the flame on medium heat
* don't use the middle part of the pineapple
