What is FSCP? - From MagDev a Global Magnets Manufacturer - [ Ссылка ]
Andy Hayling, the Soft Magnetics Technical Manager, explains how FSCP stands for ‘Fully Sintered Crushed Powder’.
In high-frequency applications the material often used is soft ferrites. One of the problems with soft ferrites is that the process of compacting and sintering results in a hard but brittle product, which can lead to the product shattering when impacting with a hard surface. It can also be difficult, if not outright impossible, to achieve some complex shapes when using conventional pressing operations.
This is where FSCP comes in. When compounded with a polymer such as Nylon and then using injection moulding, intricate shapes can be formed which are strong, resistant to chipping, and have tight dimensional tolerances.
However, we know that some customers may struggle to find a suitable compounder, and as such MagDev offers Ferriplas. This is FSCP and Nylon injection moulding granules, which can feed directly into an injection moulding process.
