A new era of commuter coaches is coming to the realm of New Jersey Transit and the many private operators that are involved.
New Jersey Transit, along with Decamp, Academy Bus, Coach USA and some others will be in the process of receiving a batch of the 772 MCI D4500CTs being delivered in the near future. These buses will be replacing all of the Detroit Diesel powered MCIs.
What you see here is MCI D4500CT 16002 operating to Highlands making its way to the Lincoln Tunnel. 16001 is operating for New Jersey Transit's Egg Harbor Garage.
This bus has a Cummins ISX with an Allison WB-500R Gen V with a Cummins C-Brake.
