We spent one week at Kap-Kig-Iwan Provincial Park just outside of the small northern town of Englehart, Ontario. This park is actually run by the town and recently became part of the Ontario Parks system. This is the first time we have ever been to this small but beautiful place and it had a lot to offer.
On our first full day we took a walk around the park, checked out part of the amazing waterfall system and found another campground we didn't know existed.
Kap-Kig-Iwan had more trails than we were aware of and we didn't really get the chance to hike much due to massive rainfall before and during our trip. We will have to go back and hike them all.
Next week we take a day trip to Eskers Lake Provincial Park for some canoeing and hiking.
