In this video, I will run you through what it is like to Polar Align with SharpCap Pro. This isn't that difficult to use as long as you remember to mentally flip Left/Right and Up/Down based on your camera orientation after rotating the mount RA axis. I can typically complete a very accurate polar alignment in 5-10 minutes from start to finish. At the end of this video, I will show you how far off I ended up as compared to the PoleMaster. Additionally, I will display a resulting guide graph from within PHD2. Proper polar alignment is critical when it comes to long exposure astrophotography. Hopefully this series will give you the tools you need to take your best possible pictures ever.
