Seminar Abstract:
Join us for an overview of @OxfordNanoporeTechnologies' sequencing tools, applications, and recent advancements.
Chemistry Overview – R10.4.1 flow cells with the latest Kit14 chemistry deliver high-accuracy, high-output sequencing data, achieving 99.6% single molecule raw-read simplex accuracy and 99.92% duplex accuracy. The newer chemistry offers tunable run conditions, providing more flexibility between accuracy and output.
Methylation analysis – Study methylation without bisulfite conversion. Bioinformatics tools, such as Remora, provide a comprehensive workflow for characterizing methylation.
Short Fragment Mode – Sequence fragments as short as 20bp and study the nucleosome of cell-free DNA.
Adaptive Sampling – Enrich or deplete regions of interest at the software level—no need to enrich for your target upstream of sequencing.
Application Focus – Single-cell transcriptomics using 10X libraries; Inexpensive rapid microbial whole-genome; Full-length plasmid sequencing without tiling; Immunogenetics; Native RNA sequencing to explore RNA base modifications; Bulk RNA-seq for analyzing gene expression, full-length isoform, and alternative splicing.
