This Easter I thought of the idea of going on my first skiing holiday in a very long time, and being an aviation enthusiast, flying to Innsbruck was the first thing that came to mind. There are many ski resorts around Innsbruck and the one I stayed at (St Anton am Arlberg) was around an hour's drive from the airport. I chose to fly with Thomas Cook as it was a familiar airline that I hadn't flown on in years so it was nice to revisit them after a while. Surprisingly, it was the cheapest airline flying to Innsbruck at the time, with a one way fare costing about £70 (I returned with easyJet 4 days later). The flight was fully booked but still very enjoyable with stunning views of the Austrian Alps on approach. It was also nice to have such a far forward wing view too as the fares for the seats are the same throughout the cabin all the way up to row 2 (not often you get to sit right at the front for so little).

Thanks to Southwest1131 for providing me with the Innsbruck webcam screenshot of my plane as there is no replay function (as far as I know) and it takes photos every 30m (so I was quite lukcy). Check out his channel here: [ Ссылка ]
