Windsor free things to do is what this video is all about! We decided to visit Windsor on a rainy day in January but still had fun and explored the key places of interest in Windsor, UK.
No matter the season all the places we visited will be available for you to check out.
We start our visit by walking down High Street towards Eton College which takes us past Eton College Boathouse across the River Thames at Eton Bridge. We then saw several of the buildings of Eton College itself, without many crowds as it was out of term time. We saw various college houses where the boys live, as well as Eton College Library, Eton College Chapel and a number of other buildings. If you go on Sundays at 2:30pm there is also a tour and the Eton Museum is open too. We walked back towards Windsor Castle and stopped at one of the many antique shops that Windsor is known for, before stopping at Windsor Castle itself. We visited the Windsor Museum and went to the Long Walk which leads down to Windsor Great Park.
Lastly we went over to Windsor Central Station and Shopping Centre.
Windsor is very close to London, easy to get to and well worth a day trip!
