Sukhothai Thani is a small town in central Thailand at 427 kilometres (265 mi) north of #Bangkok. It was the capital of the Sukhothai or Thai Kingdom from the 13th to the 15th centuries

The park covers an area of around 70 square kilometers, and is home to the ruins of the old city which was the cradle of #Thai civilization and culture
