Have you ever seen a beer bottle being made? I hadn't until I went to visit Encirc Glass in Elton, just outside of Chester. They manufacture glass bottles and they make a lot, a hell of a lot. Here they are manufacturing beer bottles for a well known beer. Proper engineering. They make around 5.5 million bottles per day. The video shows start to finish of the entire process. From the furnace, which I am told is the biggest furnace in Europe, all the way through the moulding process and then into the packaging. It's honestly fascinating, well I think it is anyway.
It's not just beer bottle they make, they make wine, juice and loads of other types of glass bottles.
