This is a 16" upper for your 1911. It basicly takes your standard 1911 and turns it into a 16" carbine. All you do is take of your slide, barrel, etc. and put your fame onto the carbine upper. It's pretty sweet. The pistol is a .45ACP and the carbine is .40S&W so I have to use different mags and ammo.
The 1911 I used for this is a Springfield Mil Spec. There's alot more I have to say about this and there's some stuff you need to know before you buy one, but it's too much to type. Be sure and check out the close-up video.

They make the same thing for Glocks. I'm probably getting one for my G17 before too long.
