In this video I'm demonstrating the Artisan Edition Seguiriya Line Flamenco Cajon from Meinl. With its gorgeous canyon-burl soundboard and handmade Spanish construction, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of this cajon.

Inside the Artisan Edition Seguiriya Line Flamenco Cajon are 16 tunable strings, which gave this drum a very pleasing sonic range. The sound has impressive boom to it, thanks to a special ring placed within the rear bass port that enhances low frequencies.

I found this cajon to be a very comfortable cajon to play. The frontplate and body are gently curved and mitered for maximum comfort and control. The 11-ply birch construction feels and sounds excellent, and the artistic touches like the distinguished heat branding and decorative wood inlays really set this drum apart.

The Meinl Artisan Edition Seguiriya Line Flamenco Cajon is absolutely perfect for traditional Seguiriya music, and it's got the versatility to fit into modern western styles too. I definitely recommend you check it out. Thanks for watching!
