Wikipedia summary for the SubPac:
"SubPac is a tactile audio system, designed and developed in Toronto, Canada. The SubPac consists of a combination of tactile transducers, vibro-tactile membranes, electronics and textiles, designed to deliver a physical dimension of sound. SubPac is available in a wearable and seatback format. The device was intended to move music hardware technologies in this area past simple ‘vibrating devices’ to deliver a complex and nuanced experience, to create an accurate tactile representation of whatever audio input is used. Outside of music production and enjoyment, the SubPac has a wide range of applications such as gaming, virtual reality (VR) and film enjoyment."
I am using the SubPac M2 with the HTC Vive virtual reality headset. SubPac devices also work with the Oculus Rift VR HMD. It can also be used without VR, for regular PC games. The game I'm playing in this video is Elite: Dangerous, a space and flight simulation game where you travel through a simulation of our galaxy and perform various activities in space to earn credits and buy better ships.
In this video I am floating in the ice rings of Saturn, in our solar system, which is called Sol in Elite: Dangerous. The solar system is accurately represented, letting me look back on Earth and see it with proper scale.
I'm playing Elite: Dangerous using a modified office char with clamps attached to the arms for supporting my HOTAS flight stick and throttle controllers. For more information on this setup, and how to do it yourself for cheap, check this video:

I'm using the Saitek x52 Pro HOTAS flight stick and throttle. Check it out on Amazon:

If you play Elite: Dangerous on the HTC Vive and don't see crisp graphics like me, check out this video on supersampling with the HTC Vive to fix graphical issues with Elite: Dangerous:

In this video I'm using 2.0 SteamVR SS and .65 E:D in-game SS.
