There's still little known about the effect the virus has on pregnant women and if it can pass from mother to baby in the womb and during birth. The uncertainty is causing confusion among pregnant women. A study of nine infected mothers-to-be, who had COVID-19 symptoms, suggests none of their babies was affected. Another study done on about 38 women who tested positive for COVID-19 shows that none of the newborns had the disease. Doctors say more research is needed, but it suggests the risk of mother-to-child transmission is low. Let's speak now to our health correspondent, Nicola Hill who joins us live from London.
