The National Beef Conference took place on Tuesday, 19 November in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
At the conference, Dr. Peter Doyle, Teagasc Researcher presented on 'The impact of red and white clover on animal performance in suckler calf-to-beef production systems'.
In this presentation, Peter outlines the results, to date, from two experiments evaluating the role of clover on suckler beef cattle performance over ‘one grazing season’ and from ‘birth-to-finish’.
