The CBC (Come By Chance) Green Machine is a version of the original green machine but instead of using spun and trimmed deer hair for the body this one is tied with dark green yarn. In this video I have used Kelly Green Uni Yarn, but any dark green yarn would work. This is an excellent Atlantic Salmon fly and tied in smaller sizes is also very effective for sea trout.

When I am tying this one I use green thread wrapped over the hackle for reinforcement, this step can be skipped if you like.

Hook: Mustad Streamer hook (R74-96720) or Mustad R50-94840- Sizes 8-12 (This Video is R50 in size 8)
Tag: Flat Gold Tinsel
Butt: Green Uni Stretch
Body: Kelly Green Uni Yarn (Or any dark green yarn)
Hackle: Brown
