ATLANTA, Ga. (WPMI) Auburn went from a winless SEC season in 2012 to SEC Champions this season. The title game was just the 2nd time in history Auburn faced the Missouri Tigers.Leroy High School grad Sammie Coates had 6 receptions and 94 yards and a touchdown in the 59-42 win for Auburn.We've got a great offensive line, our offensive line played their butts off, our running backs ran the ball hard, we just came out ready to play, Coates told Local 15 Sports Anchor Clement Townsend.Coach Malzahn put us in the right spot at the right time and it was just amazing, Auburn center and Spanish Fort grad Reese Dismukes added.Auburn will like move to number 2 in the country as previously second ranked Ohio State lost in the Big Ten Championship to Michigan State.The move puts Auburn to play top ranked Florida State for the National Championship.
