Mike Jones served as a 552 ACW Crew Chief aboard E-3 Sentry AWACS #77-0335 from 1993-2001. Before aircraft #335 left Tinker Air Force for its last time, enroute to Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona Aug. 18, 2023, Jones was able to rejoin his “America’s Wing” teammates to serve as Crew Chief one final time. #77-0335 is the ninth of 13 AWACS scheduled for reduction.
