A major bridge project is underway in downtown Nashville. TDOT is replacing four bridges along Interstate 24. Using accelerated bridge construction (ABC), the bridges will be replaced in months instead of years; but the four primary bridges aren't the only structures undergoing improvements. Work on the Silliman Evans Bridge is also underway, including repairs to damage underneath the bridge.
