A 1/6 vehicle is huge by any scale standards. What would only take minutes in 1/35 takes a good half hour🥰🥰🥰

Anyways .. it’s still on getting the undercarriage to a respectable state before the jeep could be mounted to a wood base and a diorama built .

As weathering goes:
. washes covers the recessed parts-areas
. Drybrushing covers the raised areas only


Todays topic is on washes( done in a fast & dirty cheap way)

Tomorrow we’ll move on to drybrushing ( part of drybrushing in silver is seen in the last minutes) ….after a few coats of rattle can matt varnish is ( again) applied and needs overnight to dry & cure to create a shield against more paints & thinners to be used the next day .
