Hello world!
Today we're on the border of Jambi and Sumatra Barat, two provinces separated by the MT KERINCI! The highest volcano in all of Indonesia standing at 3,805m. This volcano is truly magnificent and one of the most beautiful in the world, so our mission today will be to reach the crater during sunrise!
I'm accompanied by my CS hosts brother, a local guide, who is helping me navigate and cook. Together we're going to spend 2 days and 1 night (2D1N) on the mountain, sleeping at camp number three.
On the way up we ran into monkeys, various unique bird species, fellow hikers, and new friends. The hike was so wonderful and while editing this video I kept thinking to myself, wow I can't wait to do this again someday.
