Snowy conditions made for a slippery morning commute as a long-duration winter system impacted the Black Hills region. Upslope-enhanced snow brought over a foot of snow to the northern hills, while accumulations in nearby Rapid City also over-performed expectations. The storm was downgraded from a Winter Storm Warning to a Winter Weather Advisory as conditions are expected to improve throughout the day.
