How to remove the Immobilizer from a Bosch M 3.2.1 , slang called Immo Off.
In case your old Engine Control Unit fails , you will need to replace it with another one , in 100% of the cases an used one will be much cheaper than a new one. If an used ECU is installed the Immobilizer must be paired with the new ECU or the Immobilizer part of the ECU must be removed else your car will not start.
This is how you do it on an older VW / AUDI from 90's,
