Audi is stepping up its electric game with the 2025 Q6 E-Tron Sportback, a sleeker version of the Q6 E-Tron SUV that debuted just a few months ago. Revealed at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, this new electric vehicle blends Audi’s luxury with performance, featuring a coupe-inspired design that adds a dynamic edge to the more traditionally shaped Q6 E-Tron. This design isn’t just for looks either—the sloped roofline lowers the car’s drag coefficient from 0.28 to 0.26, improving its aerodynamics.
The Q6 E-Tron Sportback takes inspiration from Audi’s iconic TT Coupe, though it still retains the bulkier body typical of an SUV. While it might not perfectly resemble the classic sports car, its design stands out in Audi’s expanding electric lineup, which also includes the Q4 Sportback E-Tron and Q8 Sportback E-Tron. Like its siblings, it rides on the Premium Platform Electric architecture, shared with the new Porsche Macan.
Inside, the Q6 Sportback E-Tron boasts a high-tech interior with a triple-screen setup. The 14.5-inch infotainment system is the centerpiece, complemented by an 11.9-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.9-inch passenger screen. An optional head-up display with augmented reality is also available for those looking for the latest tech. Audi keeps physical controls to a minimum, similar to what we have seen in the A6 E-Tron.
The vehicle is offered with a variety of powertrain options, including rear-wheel-drive models with a single motor and all-wheel-drive Quattro models featuring a dual-motor setup. The SQ6 version sits at the top of the range, delivering an impressive 483 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 4.3 seconds. For those looking for something slightly less powerful, the Quattro version provides 382 horsepower, while the rear-wheel-drive model offers a still respectable 302 horsepower.
In terms of range, the Q6 Sportback E-Tron Performance with rear-wheel drive and the larger 94.9 kilowatt-hour battery can cover up to 408 miles on a single charge. The smaller 75.8 kilowatt-hour battery offers up to 339 miles of driving. Thanks to its 800-volt electrical system, the car can charge quickly, taking just 22 minutes to go from 10 percent to 80 percent.
With advanced tech, solid performance, and a focus on luxury, the Audi Q6 E-Tron Sportback is a stylish new option for those looking to make the switch to electric.
