It took me years to find one of these rare Bassani side exhaust setups for my 1400 mile 2000 Cobra R. It arrived in not the greatest condition. I started the cleanup a couple years ago and then set it aside while playing with other cars and hitting track events. I recently finished the exhaust tip polishing and documented the install. The install was not without problems though... this was not a mod I'd recommend performing on a 2-post lift! Also the joints on this Bassani unit had been previously welded. This and some bent tubing proved to be a challenge... I had to get creative to solve misalignment problems. The video finishes with some comparison spirited drives before and after the mod.
